Can this ultrasound be used without the heat?

Yes, the US Pro 2000 can indeed be used without the heating function.

What is the difference between the US 1000 and the US Pro 2000?

The US Pro 2000 is about 3x more powerful, operates at a 100% duty cycle on the High mode, resulting in a Continuous Pulse, which is preferred by most therapists, and also features a pre-warming sound head to allow for extra comfort so that the patient does not have to apply a cold aluminum sound head directly to the skin.

The device has ac/dc does that mean it can operate with batteries? It does not say so on the video or on the specifications.

The US Pro 2000 runs only on the AC Adapter, meaning you have to plug it in to a standard wall socket. It does not run on individual batteries.

is it possible to use this without the pre heat option?

Yes! The US Pro 2000 2nd Edition CAN be used without the preheat function. If you do not want to wait for the soundhead to preheat, you can press both the MODE button and the TIME button simultaneously. This will cause the device to go back to Standby mode, and bypass the preheat function.

Can this ultra sound hear the heart beat?

Our portable ultrasound devices are designed for therapeutic ultrasound, not ultrasound used for sonography, or imaging. Therapeutic ultrasound is used for stimulating blood flow and speeding up the healing process for soft tissue injuries. It is also great for relieving pain from swelling, as well as gently massaging muscles, tendons, and ligaments.

I purchased the US Pro 2000 2nd Edition ultrasound unit. Do you have a guide that shows how to use this unit for different areas of the body? For example, I am wanting to use this for tennis elbow. I need to know the intensity and recommended time for this injury? Thank you

Unfortunately, we do not have any sort of guide available that shows recommended treatment settings for different body parts using therapeutic ultrasound. Ultrasound is certainly a doctor-approved treatment option for a large number of ailments, though. For specific cases, we highly recommend consulting with a doctor/medical professional to advise you of the optimal treatment settings for your particular situation, as we do not staff medical professionals, but we do know the ins and outs of the products that we carry.

is the equipment 240 volts?

Yes, the US Pro 2000 comes with an Adapter that takes 100-240V.

Is this unit safe to use in water instead of ultrasound gel for uneven small surfaces like fingers and elbows?

Yes, the US Pro 2000 can be used for aqua therapy, however the soundhead can only come in contact with the very surface of the water and can not be submerged too far. We highly recommend first consulting with your doctor/medical professional prior to use for proper instruction based on your particular case.

How much rest time should be given to the device between two treatments?And how many treatments can be done at the maximum in one day?

Please consult with your doctor for specific treatment settings and questions regarding your particular case.

Is this good for pain and for relieving inflamation and for scar tissue after surgery?

Therapeutic ultrasound can certainly be used for those purposes, but it is always recommended to first consult with a doctor to see if ultrasound is a good fit for your particular case.

What does your 1 year warranty cover?

If within the 1 year period, you ever feel there is something wrong with your device, if you need any assistance at all, please let us know and we will do anything we can to assist on our end. If necessary, we will file a tech support/warranty claim with the manufacturer so that their Technical Customer Service Rep can reach out to you to walk you through the item, go through any pertinent troubleshooting steps, and then go from there. Can I use this on face for skin improvement? How long and how often please? Thanks

The US Pro 2000 is an ultrasound therapy device for pain management, operating at a 1 MHz frequency. It would not be recommended to use for cosmetic purposes, as the sound wave penetration may be too deep for facial tissue. Consult with a doctor first to see if this would be right for you.

Can this system be used for healing liposuction sites (after surgery)?

This would be a question better directed towards a doctor/trained medical professional. We can only provide more technical sort of information as it relates to the items we carry.

I have been having jaw muscle pains. Can this device be used on the jaw and around the face?

The 1MHz frequency of the ultrasound output may be too intense for thinner and more sensitive tissue, such as around the face... It is always best to consult with a doctor/trained medical professional first to see whether a form of therapy like ultrasound would be recommended for any particular case.

Will this unit break up plaque in my blood vessels?

At a 1MHz frequency output, the US Pro 2000 is indicated more as a non-invasive pain management tool in the form of ultrasound therapy, by penetrating into deeper tissue. It is unlikely to be a good and effective tool for specifically breaking up plaque and addressing clogged arteries, although ultrasound therapy can certainly promote blood circulation. It is always best to consult with your doctor to see if such a form of therapy would be effective for what you specifically need, and then go from there. I'm a therapist and I'm considering purchasing this US device. Is the head waterproof? Would it be safe to use in a water bath where the head only would be submerged 1-2 inches?

Yes, the aluminum soundhead portion of the applicator itself is rated at IPX7 and can be used for ultrasound therapy with water, with only the metal soundhead submerged just under the water surface.

Is this device strong enough to remove scar tissue that hinders joint movement?

The US Pro 2000^®2nd Edition is a clinical grade therapeutic ultrasound device that helps with effective pain relief. The pulsed sound waves travel deep into the tissue and induce vasodilation, which helps increase blood flow to the treated area and is found to help relieve pain and reduce muscle spasms. It comes uniquely equipped with a soundhead pre-warming feature on an ergonomically designed sound head for increased patient comfort. Save me from clogged ducts

I bought this in desperation of clogged ducts. I have done everything to prevent clogged ducts like lymphatic massage, taking sunflowers lecithin, hot and cold compress etc. it didnt work. Until I have to see PT paying $30 for copay to do ultrasound. It worked! So I just bought it and it has been a lifesaver to break those clogged ducts I have every week!

Love this company

Getting older and my active lifestyle is catching up to me. I bought the INTENSITY 10 years ago because I was sick of the run around at the physical therapist. I truly believe that the TENS unit helped increase blood flow to my knees and helped me avoid surgery, It has worked so well that I decided to get the US PRO 2000 ultrasound unit because I wanted some additional help with some elbow tendinitis that I’ve been having. I got relief after the first two treatments. The directions are simple to follow, just give it time to warm up. I bought the extra gel because it tends to dry up when I do 15 minute treatments. The hardest part will be committing to a schedule and not putting it off. This company is fantastic because it has allowed me to treat at home at my convenience and avoid insurance copayments. I’ve bought INTENSITY 10 units for all my sons who are involved in collegiate athletics and they love them too.

I have been going to PT where after stretching and therapy on my rotator cuff, they would use ultrasound. It helped so much with the pain incurred through therapy. I have a tens pro tens machine so decided to buy the ultrasound device. I use it daily after my therapy and love it.

This unit was recommended by the PT I am working with on a foot issue (2nd toe capsulitis and metatarsalagia). I got a PRP injection and the ultrasound is helping to break up previous scar tissue and also to get rid of inflammation. I use it ever day that I don't go to PT (where they ultrasound it). It's helping me heal. The unit is very easy to use!

US Pro 2000

I LOVE my machine!!! I use it every day, either on my hip that I injured a year ago or under my arm. I had a wound that was 20x8 centimeters big. The regular use of this machine has helped to break down the scar tissue and soften the areas around the wound. This is turn allowed the wound to shrink and at this point is almost closed. I am very happy that I have purchased the US Pro 2000.

This ultrasound wand is saving me (so far) from having to have knee surgery. It's so easy to use as long as i remember to have plenty of paper towels ready to clean the gel off my knee when I finish. It seems to keep my very arthritic knee in good working condition. The doctors tell me I need a knee replacement, but as long as I have this, I think I'll be 'good enough' to avoid it. I just bought another one for a friend of mine.

The US Pro 2000 2nd Edition is a well made product, feels solid in your hand and it works. Very well packaged and has everything you need to get started using it right out of the box. I've been using it for a few weeks now, and have seen an improvement in my arthritic hand. I use this on my off days of PT. sore knuckles

This product has been a game changer for my arthritic finger pain, strained knees, plantar fasciitis foot pain! My PT used this on me to reduce inflammation and increase blood flow. This has significantly reduced my pain on a day to day basis after just using it for 5 minutes a day. It is small, very portable and easy to travel with, so i can take it anywhere and use anytime! Amazing benefits at a low cost

I've used this several times now and it works! Love the simplicity and easy to follow instructions along with the YouTube videos to guide you. I'm actually using this to treat my hunting dog's chronic wrist injury after having been consulted by vet professional who conducted shockwave/ultra sound therapy. This device does the same thing and the immediate benefits (within an hour!) Include inflammation reduction and faster recovery times. Buying this device costs the same as I've vet treatment session (consult your vet before using this)

Hard to tell if my health improvement comes from the product or the multi-disciplinary therapy approach but I feel it gives me the same results I had from ultrasound at PT. Easy to use. Instructions are clear. Case is protective. Downside: there's no sound alert. You need to keep looking at the device to know when it has warmed up and especially when the time cycle is completed. I don't think it would make the product much more expensive to include a beep. As simple as that. Also, when the time is over and you are still using the device it is hard to notice when the LED comes off. The lights are probably too close to each other that sometimes it's hard to tell which one is on unless you take the device off your skin and look at it from a specific angle.

it works!

I have calcification/tendonitis in my shoulder that I had been going to physical therapy for 1-2 times a week and the therapist would do a couple minutes of ultra sound on my shoulder before exercises. Got covid, stopped therapy for a couple months, and I regressed. I decided to order this on a whim, and started using it every day for 10 minutes on my shoulder. I healed more from just using this for 2 weeks every day than 2 months of physical therapy. Seriously, I was absolutely delighted. It works!

Immediate pain relief!

I had De Quarvains tendon release surgery and ended up with a lot of discomfort/pain from scar tissue. Used this ultrasound one time and got immediate pain relief!

Easy to use

Looked up YouTube videos and was easy to use to heat up my boyfriends ankle after surgery and tendonitis. Deep warmth

Highly recommend for hand surgery recovery!

I bought this unit after experiencing positive results with ultrasound in my occupational therapy after hand surgery for nerve repair after a bad cut. I "graduated" from therapy after a few months, and decided to get this to continue ultrasound therapy at home. Nerve recovery can continue for up to a year or more. I use it at least every other day and it makes a big difference in the swelling/inflammation/stiffness in my hand, which allows me to do my strength building exercises with less pain and quicker recovery. It's a quality piece of equipment and easy to use. I highly recommend this device!

Brought the Physical Therapy home. Saved me time, travel, and not dealing with bad PTs

Alas, what can I say...as an athlete, I have been accident prone: taken off a curb by a pitbull in Dec 2016, Rolled my ankle on a hard, green spiky ball in 2020, and fell in a pothole in Jan 2022. I have been INJURED by bad PTs who are either stupid and inexperienced, or just want to keep you in therapy to make money. As a personal trainer, I know the exercises. I just need the STUFF: the Ultrasound, and the Tens machine. Now I have both. YAY. I don't need to go to Physical Therapy EVER AGAIN. I went for the $149 version, but wondering if I could have gotten away with the cheaper one. Either way...I now have my own PT at home.

Loving It

I am a Therapist and started using this in my practice. I didn't expect to get results right away, but my clients have been very happy with decreased inflammation and pain.
