Questions and Answers
The
T-Back Compression LSO Back Brace System
is a universal lumbar-sacral orthotic brace with lateral panels for even greater support and stability that more basic and economical back braces simply do not offer.
It features a universal sizing system that fits nearly all patients with one brace, dramatically reducing the hassle of shopping for specifically-sized braces.
It's easy-to-use pulley system and pull tabs make it easy to achieve optimal compression for effective pain relief, even for patients suffering from arthritis.
The T-Back's breathable fabric promotes air flow and helps keep patients cool and dry over long periods of wear, promoting greater overall comfort than the typical back brace.
Includes a 15" posterior panel and lateral supports, giving patients extra support for moderate to severe injuries.
Key Points:
Universal Fit
:
One-Size-Fits-Most model (up to 60" waist) which is great in case of weight loss or gain (can be folded in or out, or cut with scissors).
Easy to use
:
Simple adjustment by folding the size according to marking on the inside of the belt, and easy alignment.
Effortless control of support and comfort:
easy to pull drawstring with hole in the middle, allow for optimal compression.
Tailor the anterior and lateral panels to your personal anatomy and conform to your own custom fit.
Metal-Free construction for friendliness with medical imaging.
Breathable fabric and ventilated support panels combine to keep the T-Back back brace cool and comfortable to wear for extended periods of time.
HCPCS:
L0637 or L0650
Indications for Use:
The T-Back provides stability and support for chronic sprains and strains of the lower spine, spinal stenosis, and post surgery support.
Also provides additional support to the lower spine to prevent any potential future injury.
Application (pictures for each step included inside each package):
Lay support out flat with exterior view facing up.
Open the flap and remove both side panels.
Size indications are marked on each panel to the support and close the back flap.
(Or just use the Velcro and fold at the proper size marker.)
Attach side panels (SP) on both sides and position back support around the waist and make sure the back panel is centered on your spine.
Hold the left panel securely to your abdomen and attach the right panel to the left panel.
Hold the 2 compression straps and pull simultaneously until proper compression is attained.
Cleaning Instructions:
Remove all panels from the brace.
Hand wash with lukewarm water and mild soap.
Rinse well, making sure to remove all soap residues, as it can cause skin irritation and deterioration of the support.
Air dry, do not expose direct heat or sunlight while drying to prevent shrinkage and damage to the brace.
Notice:
While every effort has been made to obtain maximum strength, function, and durability, there is no guarantee that an injury or condition will be prevented through the use of this brace.
Intended for single-patient- use only.
Please use under the guidance of a doctor or therapist.
If you experience increased pain while using this product, discontinue use, and consult your doctor as well.

Hard To Find On The Internet
This is exactly what I have been searching the internet for! It reminds me of the brace I was given after surgery a few years back, which was a well worn brace. This is a sturdy brace that will last for years. From seeing the picture of it, I thought the top of the back would be taller than what it actually is when it arrived. I like it the height it is. It was easy to adjust to my size, too. I have already recommended it to a friend.

Mr.
This back brace is great. I have had another for about 4 years, and use it for playing golf, and it provides terrific support. Since the initial one was getting a bit worn out, I purchased the new one, which gives even better support.

Ms.
Very effective brace post-surgery. Far more tolerable than the one provided in the hospital. Resists riding up. Back cushion is comfortable but its thickness pushes you a bit forward when seated.

Mr.
I have only used this a couple of times but it does help with back pain. Adds that extra support. I would buy it again.

Sciatic and Spinal Stenosis relief
The Sciatic pain has decreased greatly, however I now have a very sore pull on the other side of my back that I think is maybe pulling the brace too tightly. This is however the device shown to me by my Othopedist.

Q:
Does the pointed end of the hard brace go up or down?
Asked by:
Jim
- 9/19/2023
A:
As a "step-down" LSO back brace, the velcro-attached high-back panel and lateral support panels can be removed as needed to fit a larger population of patients in need. The high-back panel does not exactly slide up or down, though. Either attached for more support or it can be removed.

Q:
How to replace velcro pulley on LSO T-Back Brace. Thanks
Asked by:
Frankie
- 9/21/2025
A:
It is the first time we have heard of the pulley system breaking on the braces. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not sell the system separately. It is recommended to replace the whole LSO.
