Description
Experience the next level of therapeutic care with the
Richmar HydraHeat Hot Packs
, designed to provide soothing and effective moist heat therapy.
These innovative packs are perfect for clinics, physical therapy centers, and home use, offering safety, comfort, and unparalleled convenience.
Key Features
:
Advanced Design for Hygiene and Safety
:
Crafted with a polymer skin that is non-porous and sealed to prevent leaks and contamination. Unlike, traditional clay packs use a woven material that causes frequent leaks and ruptures.
Easily disinfected with antibacterial wipes, reducing cross-contamination risks.
Operates at lower temperatures than traditional clay packs, minimizing burn risks.
Optimized for Comfort
:
Molds easily to the body for maximum contact and effective heat transfer.
Maintains therapeutic heat for up to 40 minutes, ensuring long-lasting relief; versus clay packs that can hold heat up to 30 minutes.
Reheats quickly in just 15 minutes, making it ideal for back-to-back sessions.
Simplified Use
:
Eliminates the need for bulky, unsanitary terry covers used frequently with clay packs. Simply wrap in a towel or pillowcase.
Operates between 120ºF and 140ºF for optimal therapeutic benefits.
Benefits
:
Enhanced Safety
:
Lower treatment temperatures reduce risks for both patients and clinicians. A lower temperature, longer duration treatment is more effective than a high heat, short duration treatment from clay packs.
Designed for safe use on a variety of patients, with instructions to avoid direct skin application or use on desensitized skin.
Cost -Effective
:
Eliminates laundering costs associated with terry covers and clay packs.
Durable and designed for long-term use, reducing replacement frequency.
HydraHeat packs are safer, require less maintenance, streamline compliance, and are less expensive on a total cost of ownership basis than tranditional clay packs.
Environmentally Friendly
:
Made without natural rubber latex, catering to patients with latex sensitivities.
Usage Instructions
:
Preparation
:
Heat in a recommended unit, such as the HydraTherm system, ensuring the pack is submerged in water heated between 120ºF and 140ºF.
Warm for at least 20 minutes before use.
Application
:
Remove using plastic tongs and pace a towel or appropriate layers between the pack and the skin.
Adjust towel layers to control heat intensity as needed.
Post-Treatment
:
Clean the pack with non-chlorinated, non-abrasive wipe before returning to the heating unit.
Storage
:
When not in use for extended periods, store flat on a dry surface to maintain longevity.
Cautions
:
Always monitor application to prevent overheating or burns.
Avoid using on open wounds, desensitized areas, or where circulation is compromised.
Consult a physician for individuals with circulatory issues or non-communicative patients.
