The specialized fabric is frost-free, washable, and reusable, making these Cold/Hot Packs a great investment for potential long term use. Fabric is gentle on the skin, frost-free, and washable.
Put the pack in microwave for warm therapy, or chill in a freezer for cold therapy.

When heated, soothes discomfort from a stiff neck, backache, arthritis, sprains, and bruises.
When chilled, soothes discomfort from injury, sprains and strains, muscle soreness, bruises, swelling, and tension headaches.

The pad freezes quickly and heats up quickly. It maintains desired temperature for a reasonable amount of time, and works effectively. I would buy again.
