The
InTENSity Micro Combo
is a 2-in-1 combination electrotherapy device, offering Microcurrent and TENS therapy in a single digital unit that can be used for a variety of musculoskeletal issues.
Featuring 4 TENS modes and 3 Microcurrent modes, the InTENSity Micro Combo delivers highly versatile stimulation for effective pain relief. All settings are adjustable, and the microcurrent mode is adjustable from 0 to 0.7 mA.
TENS is a non-invasive, drug-free method of controlling pain
that uses electrical impulses sent to the nerve endings in a particular area of your body to modify your perception of pain. TENS does not, nor is it meant to, cure any physiological problem; it only helps to control pain.
Microcurrent stimulation consists of a very faint electrical current sent into the cells of the body in a given area. The current is so faint that it is measured in millionths of an amp (or microamps) and is often not felt by the user at all. Microcurrent essentially stimulates and increases energy production in the cells of your body and promotes the healing of tissues. Often used for Transcutaneous Vagus Nerve Stimulation (tVNS), in conjunction with Ear Clip Electrodes, as well, for several different conditions. Consultation with a trained medical professional is always recommended first.

Excellent
This unit and the ear piece was recommended to me to help do vagus nerve stimulation. My doctor wanted me to get one. Gary from customer service helped me tremendously with how to use and the parameters etc!! I can’t thank Gary and the other staff members enough. The unit works great. I am seeing a bit of improvement I think but I know it can take a while. Anyway, I highly recommend this unit and this awesome company!!!

I actually now own 2 of these myself. This last purchase was to replace the one that I "borrowed" from my sister when I began to have severe back pain after injuring myself. My physical therapist used this as part of my treatment and it really helps. I kept my sister's machine, ordered a new upgraded one for myself and then ordered another for my sister. The product is wonderful and I do appreciate the customer service. The only issue that I have is that apparently the USPS folks decided to keep this for a month before forwarding it on from another state mid-route. Never had that happen before, but I do not generally use USPS for shipments (do many orders) because of issues over the years. Maybe look into using another vendor on shipping.

Works for me!
2.5 weeks in, using the device to mimic a 6-month study of vagal nerve stimulation. It has so far eliminated cardio irregularities and, interestingly, there seems to be a biofeedback effect helping to remove some mental triggers. Happily surgery & med free!

Mr.
Excellent product for the money. Feels very solid. The quality is as good as I could ask for this price, maybe a little better and has worked flawlessly. Nice design in it's features as well as cosmetically. The carrying case is a very nice touch and more then I would expect from a unit at this price. All the buttons on the unit don't feel cheap, they feel solid. I'm very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend. Great value, and no, I'm not someone who just gives good reviews to anyone, not at all, but this company really deserves it. Thanks for a great product at a reasonable price.

The product works great and matches what is advertised
The product is very versatile and works exactly the way which it was advertised to. I have been experimenting with various setups in order to stimulate my vagus nerve in order to increase its tone. It’s been a short while since beginning to treat various conditions adjunct with this type of therapy and so far there have been slight improvements in my health that may be due to using this device. Device matched my expectations and that’s all I can ask for.

Sleep savior
I ordered this device for vagus nerve stimulation. I wasn’t able to sleep and was on Vistaril for sleep due to anxiety. A friend mentioned that my parasympathetic nervous system is not working and I am in constant fight or flight mode. I found this device and ordered it and on the first stimulation I felt such relieve and relaxation my feet went soft. The day before was the last time I took Vistaril after that I sleep with a bunch of supplements. I cant say enough thank you to the higher power that inspired people To come up with this device and concept.

I purchased this unit to use the microcurrent function. So I can't tell you anything about the TENS According to the manual you can adjust the unit so the pulse rate can go up to 150 HZ and the pulse width can go up to 200 ms. It's a bit confusing but the Pulse Rate and Pulse Width are set up so that to get one to go higher, the other has to go lower. For example, if you want to use 150 HZ in the Normal mode, you can only have the Pulse Width at 2 mS. If you want to use the max Pulse Width of 200 mS, you can only raise the Pulse Rate to 2 HZ. It's the same story for the settings Pulse Width Modulation setting. For the Pulse Rate Modulation setting, you can choose to go up to 50 mS (not 200mS) and 10 HZ (not 150HZ). If you want more mS, you have to lower the HZ. If you want more HZ, you have to lower the Ms. It's a good unit. It works well, but the instruction booklet isn't really all that helpful. I had to call the manufacturer and speak to a tech person to find this stuff out. It really should be in the manual.

Microcurrent is a life saver
Following knee surgery, I ended up with nerve damage clear down the inside of my leg. The microcurrent from this machine has totally alleviated the pain. I still don't have proper feeling, which is expected, but the burning, tingling, pins and needles and almost unbearable pain are no longer an issue. I highly recommend this product to anyone going through similar issues!

Thank you!!
After ordering an Intensity unit, I found I couldn't seem to get it to work properly. So I just set it aside and chalked it up to another lesson learned... not to fool with technology. But after a few months passed, I received a survey. Trying to be fair about it I called Tens Pros to let them know what I was going to say. Needless to say, was I wrong... the very first person I spoke with...stopped what they were doing and walked me thru setting it up. Danielle, not only helped me to get it the way I need the unit to work, but during our conversation, I accidentally hung up on her, and before I could call back... she was calling me! I just wish everyone had her, to help with my tech issues... Kudos to you young Lady and TYVM...

Stop thinking about it and buy it !!!!! nTENSity Micro Combo: TENS & Microcurrent Combo Unit
I bought this in a last ditch effort not to go on pain pills. I was in constant 4/10 pain for a year and a half. The pain constantly affected my mood and my family. This unit took my pain away the first day. Don't let the pain and drugs change who you are and affect the people around you. Just try it. It helped give me my life back. -Doug RN & Father

You don't need an expensive Alph-Stm or a F/W to alleviate depression.
I've been using the microcurrent functionality of this far less expensive device for about two weeks with these results: significantly improved mental clarity and focus, negative thought spirals STOPPED (formerly a daily curse for me), improved sleep (I'm a recovering insomniac), happiness-for-no-reason. I am recovering from depression. Antidepressant meds have always been worse-than-the-depression-itself for me, so this device is a godsend. It works!

I bought this unit because I needed to treat neuropathy and herniated cervical disk. I am glad I did. I have no insurance & no money for doctors. I had to go cold turkey from pain pills. Without this unit I would have been a basket case by now. I also use it to treat occasional pulled muscles. I am glad I got the AC/DC unit. Walking around is nice but the leads do get snagged. Batteries aren't as cheap as AC. I can do the farm chores and relax at night while repairing the nerve damage.

Q:
How does it run by battery or electric or both?
Asked by:
Nancy
- 7/15/2015
A:
The Micro Combo is powered by either 1x standard 9 volt battery, or it can be used with the AC adapter plugged into a wall outlet. The AC adapter does NOT charge the device. It simply bypasses the battery and powers the unit through the outlet.

Q:
Is this unit rechargeable or does it run on batteries? If it's rechargeable, is it compatible with Australian electricity currents? Thank you.
Asked by:
Alison

A:
The device is powered by EITHER a 9V battery OR an AC adapter that it comes standard with, which you could use to plug in to an electrical outlet and power it that way. The adapter does not function as a charger for any batteries, only as an alternative means of powering the device. Voltage of the adapter is compatible worldwide, but you may need a separate universal travel adapter just to be able to plug it in to the outlet type used in your country.

A:
On either the TENS or Microcurrent modes, as soon as you increase the intensity of the stimulation from 0 milliamps (mA) to begin your treatment session, the clock icon for the treatment timer will begin flashing on the LCD screen as an indicator that it is activated and counting down from your set time, corresponding to electrical current output from the device. If you decrease the intensity back down to 0 mA, the clock icon should stop flashing... On the Microcurrent mode, the intensity of the stimulation is adjustable from 0 - 0.7mA in 0.01 mA increments, and on the the TENS mode, it is adjustable from 0 - 105mA in 1 mA increments. Microcurrent is inherently a very faint form of stimulation and will be sub-sensory for most individuals, which is totally fine and normal. On TENS, most individuals will begin to feel stimulation right around 5-6mA or so, depending on your sensitivity level and the area of the body you are treating.
