Will this work with an InTENSity unit??? And if so,should I order the belt larger than my waist size???

This product will certainly work with our InTENSity line of units. You simply will use only one channel of your device by attaching the red and black end on one wire into the top of the rubber electrodes inside the back brace. We suggest to order the brace larger than your waist size as it straps around the lower back so you will need to account for your stomach as well, not just your waist.

Does this attach with the standard pin type connector? Also do I need any kind of gel to use with the electrodes? Thanks

This brace does attach using a standard 2mm pin connector. You will only need to use one channel of your device and connect both the positive and negative pin of one lead wire to your TENS unit. For the rubber electrodes on this back brace to conduct properly, you will need a medium for the current to transfer through your skin. We suggest our Thera Sonic TENS Prep Conductive Spray-On Skin Preparation Gel. Simpy spray the electrodes with this before wrapping the belt around your skin and continue to spray the pads if you feel they are drying out during a therapy session.

What TENS units work in conjunction with this conductive back brace?

All of our electrotherapy supplies come from the same manufacturer, including the Conductive Back Brace, so you should have no issues using any of our TENS units with the brace.

Love this

I got this for work, I don't necessarily need a brace but I got it for the electrode pads. I'm a dental assistant so I'm constantly moving and twisting and bending so the regular electrode patches just peel off. I decided to get the brace to wear at work when I'm having back pain and its great. It also forces me to remember to bend "properly" which is good.

I paired this with the Tens 3000 and use them as a portable unit, I never leave home without them. I got this belt so I would not have to deal with electrode placement. If you are looking at his belt it is worthy investment. I the only advice I can give is to get it at least one at least two sizes larger larger then what you need. I got mine two sizes larger then my pants size. and because I use it on my lower back it it a snug fit. Good reason o lose some unwanted weight. I recommend this product if you have lower back pain and need relief while away from home, in a car, shopping, walking, sitting or what ever activities you may be doing, it /helps when used with the proper unit.
