Can it be used for Foot Drop Treatment?

The EMS 7500 is a standalone muscle stimulator, which can indeed be used as a treatment option for Foot Drop. Prior to considering electrical muscle stimulation for your particular case, though, it is highly recommended to first consult with your doctor/medical professional to see if EMS would be a good fit for you.

Can this unit be purchased with an AC adapter so as to save on batteries?

No, the EMS 7500 is powered by a single 9V Battery only.

Why is the pulse amplitude 0-80mAs when I have seen same device specs with 0-100?

Pulse Amplitude (Intensity of the stimulation) is indeed adjustable from 0-80mA on this unit, in 10mA increments, using the two dials at the top of the device, one for each channel. Other units may have different parameters, there is no standard.

What are the measurements of the unit?

Will this help my lymphodemea in my legs from my waist down. My legs, ankles and feet are Hugh from being swollen. And they hurt alot and sometimes very. Very painful. Will this help me with?

The EMS 7500 is a fully portable, digital muscle stimulator that features a patient compliance meter, three different therapy modes, a safety amplitude cover, a sturdy metal belt clip, rubber side railings for comfortable handling, and a premium silver finish.

Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) is an internationally accepted and proven way of treating muscular injuries. It works by sending electronic pulses to the muscle needing treatment, causing the muscle to exercise passively. EMS is widely used in hospitals and sports clinics for the treatment of muscular injuries, and for the re-education of paralyzed muscles, to prevent atrophy in selected muscles, and improving muscle tone and blood circulation.

3 User-Defined Treatment Modes

Constant:

Constant stimulation based on setting value. Only pulse width, pulse rate and timer are adjustable in this mode.
"Constant" is equal to the "Normal" mode of a TENS unit.

Synchronous:

Stimulation of both channels occurs synchronously. The "ON" time including "Ramp Up" and "Ramp Down" time. Therefore, the setting of ON time should be no less than two times of the "Ramp" time in this mode.

Alternate:

The stimulation of the CH2 will occur after the 1st contraction of CH1 is completed. In this mode, the setting of On Time should be no less than two times of the "Ramp" time. The OFF time should be equal or more than the ON time.

Patient Compliance Meter: This unit can store 60 sets of operation records. Total recorded time is 999 hours.
Low Battery Indicator: A low battery indicator will show up on the LCD when the battery is low.

Perfect Instrument

This was always an experiment between my Physical Therapist and myself for the disease I have. It has worked perfect for allowing my brain to regain the signal between my leg. It has allowed me to bring the connection thru the nerves in the muscle to control shaking in the lower half of my body.

I purchased the Tens Pro 7500 after visiting many other EMS sites. I decided that the simplicity and functionality of this unit would best meet my needs, as a supplement to my formal physical therapy. I couldn't be happier with that decision. I have enjoyed results comparable to those I get during office visits, with the convenience of access to the machine based on my schedule. I primarily use it to assist in knee stabilization through quadricep strengthening.

I am very happy with the EMS 7500 2nd Edition Electrical Muscle Stimulator Unit I purchased 2 and use them both as I am using 4 pads on both my feet to help stimulate my nephropathy. I use them every day and it helps my circulation in my feet. I also used it on my husbands ankle when he twisted it and I feel it helped him to heal faster. could not be more satisfied. Excellent device has been very helpful for recovery from a neurological disease that attacked the spinal cord. Therapist recommended TensPros but I shopped around anyway... and she was right... TensPros was the best supplier.

Back spasms

This was recommended by our chiropractor to build up muscles to deal with football back fatigue, spasms and injury. Since using the Tens EMS 7500 Muscle stimulator we have strengthened the weak areas and have felt the difference in muscle tension immediately after using it. It made it possible to return to the practice field with confidence and safety. Paid for itself in first use. Excellent unit for the price!

Wonderful!

I recently had shoulder surgery. While in PT, this type of treatment with an ice pack over it was administered at the end of each session. Felt great when I walked out, and continued to feel pretty good through the day! I looked for a unit so I could continue having this part of PT available at home after I was released from PT. It is easy to use! The reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5, is it doesn't make a smooth transition from one type of massage to the next. It goes through about 3 or 4 different types of massage; it tends to jump a bit as it makes the transition. My arm and shoulder feel great when I am finished. I use it every other day as I am still in PT mode for another couple months. I would recommend this unit!

Solid Muscle Stimulator

I like this stimulator. It passes by sensory input quite quickly and gets muscle contractions well. So far it has not broken or glitched. I have had it for about a month. One thing to note is that this would not be useful on de-innervated muscles, as the pulse width is maximum 300uS. For all innervated muscles it is plenty!

The EMS7500 is a fabulous device! Have been using it since end Sep15 till today for muscle stimulation. I also bring it along for my fortnightly visit to my occupational therapist. The ease in changing the settings is a breeze. From alternate mode to continuous mode it works each time without fail. I am in Singapore and the reason why I turn to Tenspro is because I can't get a similar EMS machine locally. Fortunately, I googled it and found you guys. I am definitely recommending this device to my friends and even to my therapist. Just in case she has patients who needs an EMS device.Cheers.

Great therapy

The EMS 7500 does have considerable variables which include pulse strength, duration, as well as a ramping up and duration of pause. The instruction manual is a must read. Ive used this unit for numerous aches, pains, muscle strains, and pinched nerves. I wouldnt be without one. In fact Ive got two, just in case a loaner doesnt return promptly. Prices have dropped dramatically since my first purchase. There are cheaper (less expensive) units out there but the versatility EMS 7500 is the way to go. BTW, there is a belt clip so you can take it with you on the move.
