I have one similar to this one and we love it. I had back surgery, both shoulders replaced, and knee surgery, I can say I use mine on each and everyone of these areas, and get the same results as when I was going to therapy. My older brother was asking if I liked the one I have, so I bought this one for him so far he is still getting use to using it, but says he likes it very much.

High quality found throughout. From the carrying case to the punch this little thing delivers. For less than half the price I've paid for other less quality devices, I've finally found what I was looking for. My only reservation was the 9v battery was dead so mobility hasn't yet been tried

Love my TENS machine! Easy to use and really helped ease pain in my lower back! Battery only lasted 2 weeks. Expected longer use, however. Glad there is an electric cord option.

Yes, the CareTec II includes an AC adapter so that you may also use it while it is plugged in to an electrical outlet and power it that way without having to rely solely on 9V batteries.
