The IF 4K™ Digital Interferential Device is a portable IF unit, offering multiple treatment modes which can provide up to two hours of treatment with AA batteries, superior to comparable IF devices, or unlimited treatment using the AC adapter included with every purchase. It is a true SINE WAVE IFC unit, providing the deepest and most effective pain relief. Ideal for post-op therapy after surgery or patients with chronic pain.

4-Pads Treatment

Conventional Interferential Current Therapy (IFC) with Channel 1 delivers a fixed 4kHz sine wave, while output of Channel 2 can be varied between 4002-4160 Hz.

2-Pads Treatment

Pre-modulated Interferential Current Therapy (IFC) in which both Channel 1 and 2 will simultaneously deliver an amplitude-modulated output with beat frequency varied between 2-160 Hz.

Treatment Programs:

You can choose 6 different preset treatment programs.
When treatment program changes, the output intensity and treatment time resets to zero, but changing the treatment program will not alter the choice of the 2-Pads of 4-Pads Treatment.

IF Frequency Adjustable: Yes
2-160 Hz Adjustable:

2-20 Hz adjustable in steps of 2 Hz,
20-80 Hz adjustable in steps of 5 Hz,
80-160 Hz adjustable in steps of 10 Hz

IF Frequency Adjustable: No
The beat frequency sweeps from 2-10 Hz in 6 seconds, and then back in 6 seconds.
Total cycle time is 12 seconds.

IF Frequency Adjustable: No
The beat frequency sweeps from 2-100 Hz in 10 seconds, and then back in 10 seconds.
Total cycle time is 20 seconds.

The beat frequency changes gradually from the set value to +200% of it in 6 seconds, and then back in 6 seconds.

The beat frequency changes abruptly between set value and +200% of it every 1 second.

Placement of Electrodes:

The placement of the electrodes is very important to the success of the treatment, therefore please place electrodes according to the instructions of your treating physician.
When operating in 4-Pads treatment mode, the electrodes should be placed on the body as shown below. The arrangement of these 4 electrodes will allow the intersection of the 2 sinusoidal outputs, which will result in the required beat frequency.
In 2-Pads treatment mode, 2 separate pairs of electrodes can simultaneously treat two different body regions.

I purchased the unit to enable me to provide therapy at home for the wrist that I broke on Jan. 5, 2020 that subsequently developed into carpal tunnel syndrome. The onset of the COVID pandemic made it all but impossible for me to continue to undergo rehab therapy from my clinic. I am a guitar player, and the broken hand was performing very badly. Prior to the purchase I had experienced very limited therapeutic success doing only stretching and strengthening exercises. I am not a health professional, but after learning which frequencies provided the most effective therapy, adding the use of the 4K Unit to stretching and strengthening has reversed this pattern. I am confident that my wrist is now well on its way to a near full recovery. I was so pleased with my unit that I purchased one for my daughter who uses the device to help manage a shoulder injury that she received in a car accident.

I began using this unit immediately, two to three times a day, and it did reduce my pain. The unit is easy to use, and appears to be of adequate quality. The electrodes that came with the unit lasted for nearly a month, with two to three times use a day. When they wore out, I began using electrodes from the package I ordered with the unit; these replacement electrodes in just a week are falling off. It seems that the adhesive used with the replacement units is of poor quality.

This product works. It does not have the power (kick) of the Interferential Units used by the physiotherapists in Australia; but they cost around $4000. Having said that, it certainly improves the condition.

This works to help relieve pain and muscle pain and spasms. I’ve been going to pt, massage, Chiro for years. I just put the electrodes around area of pain and turn it on and feel it work. If you have chronic pain this is a good device to have in your arsenal.

It works!

The Digital Interferential Unit is superb. Totally works. The fact it is a pure sine wave machine sold it for me. Would rather have one machine do a fantastic job versus a multi machine doing an OK job. Has almost completely healed my knee as applicable per instructions from my PT. Mahalo for carrying such a fine instrument.

Great interfernital machine!

OMG! I love the 4K IF! It works very well. Keeps me pain free and able to sleep through the night after a treatment. My wife and I both use it for our baby boomer shoulder pain. We are very satisfied with our purchase and would highly recommend it for anyone with chronic or acute pain. For the money, it is a great deal. Not as powerful as my chiro's big office unit but it gets the job done. Beats narcotic pain medication!
