2.75'' x 4.3'' Rubber Carbon Electrodes

Q: Hi, these are rather large for the area I need to place them. Can I cut them down to size?

Q: Hello, This might be a strange request, but could you tell me more about the material used for these electrodes? What type of rubber specifically (EPDM, Nitrile, Chloroprene etc). We'd like to use these electrodes for medical research purposes and need more information for biocompatibility testing. Thanks, -Josh

Q: Are these electrodes designed for 2mm or 4mm sized pin-style connection lead wires? I saw that your smaller 2.5'' x 3.5'' rubber carbon electrodes are designed for the 2mm. Since these are bigger I didn't know if they would use 2mm or 4mm. Thanks.

A: The manufacturer does not recommend cutting the electrodes as it may affect the quality of the stimulation.

A: According to the manufacturer... "The Rubber Carbon Electrodes are made of silicone rubber, which includes 3 raw material components: Vinylmethylsiloxane homopolymer, Silicon dioxide, and Hydroxy silicone oil."
